In this recent application, our customer needed to singulate and orient plastic retainers vertically with the open side down for two production lanes. We designed a 21″ vibratory feeder system solution that feeds the retainers at a customer requested rate of 30 parts per minute (ppm) per lane. Complete with a storage hopper and a dual pocket isolation cross shuttle for consistent picking, the automated solution seamlessly integrates into their assembly process.
