This recent project features a 24″ vibratory feeder designed to handle caps with a living hinge. It feeds the parts with the axis vertical, flat side down, and protrusions parallel to the direction of travel, ensuring consistent orientation. The system operates at a customer-requested feed rate of 70 PPM (parts per minute). It is equipped with a tool steel track, an inline drive for precise movement, and a storage hopper with a low-level sensor to ensure smooth and reliable material flow.
