Tight on space, this customer needed a solution to orient two sizes of bulk plastic caps—at their required count rate—while staying within their existing floor plan. The solution? A custom-designed 21″ vibratory feeder bowl system with changeover capabilities. This system feeds both part sizes at 30 parts per minute (PPM) in a vertical hanging orientation, keyed on the open slot to ensure smooth transitions to the next stage of assembly. With minimal changeover needed and a bulk storage hopper, the setup lets them hit production targets while maximizing their floor space.
