For this project, we designed a centrifugal feeder system to orient plastic lids at a rate of 440 parts per minute (PPM). The system arranges the lids laying flat, with the open cavity facing down, and efficiently discharges them for downstream operations. The design features Lexan covers with integrated safety switches for added protection and easy access. A back pressure relief system ensures consistent feeding performance, while the main air prep unit and air regulator stack optimize operation. Additionally, LED lighting enhances visibility for adjustments and maintenance.
