Case Study
A customer required an automated solution to feed and orient plastic retainers vertically, with the open side facing down, for integration into two separate production lanes. The system needed to deliver consistent orientation and accurate part placement while maintaining steady throughput for each lane.
We developed a 21″ vibratory feeder system featuring a bulk storage hopper and a dual pocket isolation cross shuttle. The system feeds retainers at 30 parts per minute per lane, orienting them for vertical pick-up with the open side down. This dual-lane setup provides reliable part handling and consistent isolation, integrating directly into the customer’s existing assembly process for improved efficiency and throughput.
